Terms & Conditions

Version 2026-07-25 · Last updated July 25, 2026

⚠️ Draft — pending legal review

This is an initial plain-English draft written to describe how the platform actually works. It has not been reviewed or approved by a licensed attorney and is not a substitute for legal advice. Because this product handles the data of youth athletes (minors), a qualified attorney should review and finalize these Terms — and the related privacy and parental-consent language — before the platform launches to the public.

1. Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account or using this platform (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are creating an account on behalf of a minor, or as a parent or guardian, you accept these Terms on their behalf as well. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

2. Who may use the Service

The Service is offered to baseball and softball facilities, their staff and instructors, athletes, and the parents/guardians and coaches of those athletes. You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.

Minors. Many athletes on the platform are under 18, and some are under 13. A minor may only have an account that is created or authorized by a parent or legal guardian, or set up by the facility as part of the athlete's training relationship. A parent/guardian who registers or claims a minor's profile represents that they have the authority to consent to these Terms and to the collection and use of the athlete's information described below.

3. Information we collect

To operate the Service we collect and store:

  • Account details (name, email, phone, role, and the club or team you belong to).
  • Athletic performance data — for example exit velocity, pitch velocity, strike-zone location, drill results, and coach or instructor notes — some measured by devices and some recorded by hand by facility staff.
  • Scheduling, booking, membership, and payment records (see §6).

We do not store raw card numbers or card security codes. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we retain only a transaction reference and the amount.

4. How performance data is used and shared

Performance data is used to track an athlete's development, generate reports for the athlete and their parent/guardian, and help facility instructors coach effectively.

Public / scouting profiles. An athlete's profile may include a public or scouting-facing view. When it does, only data recorded by the facility's own instructors or captured by measurement devices may appear there, and each figure is clearly labeled as either hand-logged by an instructor or machine-measured. Data entered privately by the athlete, a parent, or an outside coach is kept private and is not shown on the public/scouting view. Parents/guardians and athletes can ask the facility to limit or remove what appears publicly.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service (for example, our hosting, email, and payment providers) or as required by law.

5. Parental rights & data requests

A parent or guardian may review the personal information held about their child, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent by closing the account. To make a request, contact the facility using the details in §9. We will respond within a reasonable time.

6. Bookings, payments & cancellations

Bookings are prepaid. If you cancel 48 hours or more before the start time, you receive a full refund to your original payment method (or restored credits/wallet balance). Cancellations inside 48 hours, and no-shows, are non-refundable. Billing disputes are handled directly with the facility.

7. Training, safety & assumption of risk

Baseball and strength-and-conditioning training carry inherent physical risk. Training content, drill recommendations, and age or workload guidance on the platform are general information, not medical advice. Always follow the supervising instructor's direction and consult a qualified medical professional before starting or changing a training program, especially for a young or injured athlete.

8. Your responsibilities

Keep your login credentials secure, use the Service only for lawful purposes, and do not attempt to access data belonging to other families, athletes, or facilities. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Contact

Questions, or a request about your or your child's data? Contact the facility that manages your account. If you signed up directly, reach us through the contact options on our website.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make a material change we will update the version and date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, ask you to review and accept the updated Terms.
