Tee-Gate Zone-Read Recognition Drill
Two batting tees frame a target window beside the plate, giving the hitter a physical strike-zone reference. The hitter then reads live feeds against that gate and swings only at pitches that travel through it, sharpening location recognition.
⏱ ~15 min📋 Rounds of 8-10 pitches (about half through the gate, half outside it); score a rep clean only when the call is correct AND the swing/take action matches; rotate the gate location each round and chart clean reps out of total
What you'll need
- Two adjustable batting tees
- L-screen or protective net
- Bat
- Batting helmet
- Baseballs or softballs (8-12)
