An advanced live-bullpen drill that trains catchers to call full pitch sequences against a simulated count and hitter while receiving and framing under game intent.
📋 One live bullpen of 25-40 pitches covering 4-6 scripted hitter profiles/counts, scored per at-bat, then debriefed.
What you'll need
- Full catcher's gear (helmet, chest protector, leg guards)
- Catcher's mitt
- Home plate
- Strike-zone frame or dowels (target reference)
- Whiteboard or index cards (hitter profiles / counts)
- Baseballs or softballs
- Radar gun or pitch tracker (optional)
- Phone/tripod for video review (optional)
